PM1801
Gamma  Mobile Radiation Detector
with ID & Remote Communication functions.

The PM1801 is a  radiation detector-identifier with an independent gamma channel. The PM1801 is designed for detection and identification of radioactive and nuclear materials (including weapons grade). The PM1801equipped with the detector based on CsI(Tl) of 1 inch height and diameter,  the РМ1801 is capable of performing  the functions of an alarming rate meter and can detect the smallest gamma radiation sources, this ensures speedy identification and measurement of gamma radiation sources both in a controlled and a field environment.

The unique feature of this PM1801 is that the gamma sensor has been incorporated into a mobile phone. This innovation creates a new, mobile and highly usable detection device.

The PM1801 is capable of measuring, assessing & identifying radioactive isotopes from the comprehensive onboard library. When a radioactive isotope reading can't be found in the library, the PM1801 can access the remote Decision Support System (DSS). The readings can be transmitted  to a remote site where they are assessed either through a database or a qualified expert.

The PM1801 can detect / measure the following list of Isotopes

• Nuclear Materials: U-233,  U-235, Np237, Pu-239, Pu-241

• Medical isotopes: Cr-51, Ga-67, Tc-99m, Pd-103, In-111,(I-125), I-123, I-131,  TI-201, Xe-133

• Industrial isotopes: Co-57, Co-60, Ba-133, Cs-137, Ir-192, (TI-204), Se-75,   Ra-226, (Am-241)

• Naturally occurring Radioactive Materials: K-40, Ra-226, Th-232 and daughters, U-238 and daughters.

• Complementary subgroup isotopes: Bi-207, Ce-139, Eu-152, Ir-194, Mn-54, Na-22, Sn-113, Th-228, Ti-44, Y-88, Zn-65
