PM1802
Gamma & Gamma-Neutron Mobile Radiation Detectors with ID & Remote Communication functions.
The PM1802 is a radiation detector-identifier with 2 independent gamma and neutron channels. The PM1802 is designed for detection and identification of radioactive and nuclear materials (including weapons grade). The PM1802 is equipped with two separate scintillation detectors based on CsI(Tl) and LiI(Eu), the PM1802 is capable of operating as a two-channel alarming rate meter, this ensures speedy identification and measurement of gamma and neutron radiation sources both in a controlled and a field environment.
The unique feature of this PM1802 is that the gamma & neutron sensors have been incorporated into a mobile phone. This innovation creates a new, mobile and highly usable detection device.
The PM1802 is capable of measuring, assessing & identifying radioactive isotopes from the comprehensive onboard library. When a radioactive isotope reading can't be found in the library, the PM1802 can access the remote Decision Support System (DSS). The readings can be transmitted to a remote site where they are assessed either through a database or a qualified expert.
The PM1802 can detect / measure the following list of Isotopes
